Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) supports and advises firms for global digital commerce

The global digital commerce market continues to grow at a fast pace. Globally, digital commerce sales were estimated at €3.2 trillion in 2019.

Modern trade is to a very high extent enabled by digital technologies. For example:

  • Banks and Insurers, rely heavily on the international transfer of data;

  • Buyers and Sellers of agricultural products use e-signatures to conclude international purchases;

  • Freight Forwarders and Customs Brokers can track and improve the performance of their products and services across the planet thanks to electronic data transfers.

Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), as a network formed by more than 600 contact points, spread over 54 countries, and part of the European Commission, supports and advises firms for challenges and opportunities of global digital commerce, through the new Access2Markets portal.
